What
types
of
patients
are
appropriate
for
University
Pointe?
We
select
procedures
and
patients
based
upon
several
factors.
First,
we
look
at
a patient's
medical
history
and
co-morbidities.
Risk
assessment
is
made
based
upon
the
American
Society
of
Anesthesiologists'
physical
classification
system
(ASA
class).
We
also
have
height/weight
guidelines
for
our
patients.
Patients
who
are
ASA
1,
2 or
3 and
who
fit
the
height/weight
guidelines
are
appropriate
for
our
facility.
Who
should
I
contact
about
staff
privileges?
Lesley
Gilbertson,
MD,
is
our
medical
director.
Our
medical
staff
is
comprised
of
both
community
providers
and
physicians
affiliated
with
Health
Alliance
hospitals.
We'd
be
glad
to
give
you
a
tour
if
you
are
interested
in
seeing
the
hospital.
To
inquire
about
staff
privileges,
please
call
513-475-8300.
| "I
love operating at University
Pointe Surgical Hospital. The
turnover time is very quick,
the staff gets the patients
ready for the OR and to sleep
very fast. My overnight patients
love the rooms." |
